Welcome to Chris Slane's Privacy Cartoons, the home of original, pioneering cartoons about privacy, data security and freedom of information. They have enlivened powerpoint presentations, newsletters, intranets and other media, fostering an appreciation of Privacy principles with audiences throughout the world.
The cartoons have been licensed by corporations, consultants as well as non-profit organisations, educational institutions, medical practitioners, health providers, governmental agencies and privacy authorities.
Originally, I began creating these cartoons for use at conferences, newsletters and christmas cards by New Zealand's first Privacy Commissioner, my father, Bruce Slane. Since 1992, I have continued to add more. Now the catalogue is the largest professional database of visual humour on the subject. The cartoons have been licensed by corporations, governmental, health and privacy authorities in Australia, Canada, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Holland, the USA, Great Britain and here in New Zealand.
